Our Convertible Soft Top Clean & Protect Complete Kit contains everything you need to clean and protect your mohair, double duck, fabric or canvas fabric hood. If you have a vinyl hood, clean thoroughly with Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner, then protect with Bumper & Trim Gel. Wash the supplied sponges as required in clean, warm water and allow to air dry. Contents: 500ml Soft Top Cleaner, 500ml Soft Top Protector, 1 x cleaning sponge, 1 x Soft Top Protector applicator sponge How to use this product: Working out of direct sunlight, brush and vacuum the hood to remove any loose dirt. Dampen the roof with water. Shake Soft Top Cleaner well. Mix 250ml of Soft Top Cleaner solution with 500ml of water, in a suitable container. Test on a small inconspicuous area for colourfastness. Saturate the white cleaning sponge provided in the diluted product, start by concentrating on any stains or green algae first. Continue by saturating the sponge and spreading the cleaner onto the fabric hood allowing even coverage (make sure you use the full contents of the container). Once an even coverage has been achieved start to work the chemical into the hood. If your hood is very dirty, cover with a plastic sheet and allow the cleaner to continue working overnight. Wipe away product runs from glass and paintwork with a damp microfibre. Using a low-pressure hose, rinse off the Soft Top Cleaner until there is no cleaner left on the hood. Do not use a pressure washer to remove the cleaner. It is important that all the cleaner is removed before moving onto Soft Top Protector. Any remaining cleaner will affect the performance of the Soft Top Protector. Now, dry the vehicle leaving the soft top damp and move on to apply Soft Top Protector, reading the instructions carefully. Soft Top Protector Usage Instructions: Clean roof with Soft Top Cleaner and leave damp. Rinse the blue Soft Top Protector applicator under a tap for a few seconds then squeeze until damp. (This will help activate the applicator) Working out of direct sunlight, pour the Soft Top Protector onto the applicator and apply systematically to the hood to ensure even coverage, using approximately half of the bottle contents. Ensure the roof is evenly coated. Remove any overspray from paintwork and glass immediately. We recommend using Fast Glass to remove overspray from glass. No matter how careful you are, scratches and swirls will occur. If they are too deep to remove with Super Resin Polish, a new approach is required, and that is where the Scratch Removal Complete Kit comes in. Applying ceramic protection often takes time to achieve the best results. Rapid Ceramic Spray is a quick and easy way to add protection to your paintwork. The ceramic hybrid formula quickly bonds to the paintwork with a simple spray and microfibre buff. The tropical scented coating product offers up to 3 months of durable hydrophobic protection, and the unmistakable deep gloss finish will make your car stand out from the crowd. Do not apply in direct sunlight or if paintwork is warm to the touch. For best results do not apply in temperatures over 25°C. Can be applied to wet paintwork but for maximum durability apply when dry. Wash the car thoroughly and remove any fallout with Magma or Clay Detailing Complete Kit. Shake well. Work on wet or dry painted surfaces in an area no larger than a shoulders width apart.                  For dry cars: Spray sparingly directly onto paintwork or onto a clean microfibre cloth or applicator and spread. For wet cars: Spray sparingly directly onto paintwork and spread with an Autoglym InstaDry. Two to three sprays per panel is sufficient, no more than two on smaller panels. Take a clean Hi-Tech Microfibre Finishing Cloth and buff to a high gloss before moving to another area of paintwork. Use additional cloths as required. Polar Wash is a safe and effective cleaner that should be applied using a pressure washer with a foam gun after pre-washing with a snow foam such as Polar Blast. This impressive cleaner will cover your vehicle in a blanket of foam that makes light work of dirt, traffic film and road grime removal. How to use this product: Before you start, check that the bodywork and wheels are cool to the touch and out of direct sunlight. We recommend a pre-wash with Polar Blast to gently loosen dirt. If not, rinse first with water to loosen heavy contamination. Polar Wash can be used at various dilutions depending on the density of foam desired. However, we would not recommend using a dilution stronger than 50:50. Adjust foam gun settings as required to increase or reduce foam. 250ml of mixed solution should be enough to cover an average sized car.   Spray Polar Wash onto the vehicle, starting at the bottom, ensuring all exterior surfaces are covered, including glass and wheels. The cleaner will begin to loosen dirt on all surfaces. For the most thorough clean we recommend agitating the foam with a sponge or wash mitt. Rinse thoroughly from the bottom up and dry. We recommend starting with a snow foam like Polar Blast to gently loosen dirt, and follow with Polar Wash to remove any dirt or contamination on your paintwork. Only a small amount of Polar Seal is required. Pour no more than 40ml (four capfuls) into your foam bottle and then add at least 200ml of water. This should be all the finished solution required to cover your vehicle. There is no benefit in using any more than 40ml as over application can compromise the finish. Spray Polar Seal onto the clean, wet vehicle, ensuring all exterior surfaces are covered, although avoid direct application to the windscreen. Thoroughly rinse and dry your car to reveal a high-gloss finish that is protected with a hydrophobic coating. The car must be dried with a cloth and not allowed to air dry as water spotting may occur. Use Autoglym Fast Glass to clean the windscreen and wiper blades to ensure no smearing occurs. We do not recommend applying more than once a month. Polar Seal is not suitable for use on soft top convertibles. Do not store diluted product. Please rinse foam bottle and pressure washer lance after use.
