Hylomar Hylotyte Red is a semi-hardening gasket compound supplied in a 40 ml tube. It seals flanged and threaded joints, including joints with pitted, corroded or roughly machined surfaces, while allowing the joint to be dismantled for servicing or repair. Features Fills gaps on uneven mating surfaces. Helps prevent corrosion between dissimilar metals. Suitable for aluminium and alloy cylinder heads. Resists petrol, oil, steam, water, antifreeze solutions and dilute acids. Apply to clean, dry surfaces and allow a few minutes for the solvent to evaporate before closing the joint.
