This tool is intended for use in conjunction with the Motion Pro Nitrogen Shock Gauge (part number 08-0072) to ensure precise and efficient shock servicing. Features: Enables filling of shocks with self-sealing rubber valves Compatible with select Yamaha, Fox, and Öhlins shock absorbers Designed for use with Motion Pro Nitrogen Shock Gauge (08-0072) Includes necessary components for proper installation and use Made in the USA Specifications: Needle Gauge: 22 Needle Length: 1 inch Compatibility: Self-sealing rubber valve shocks Material: High-quality components for durability Usage Instructions: Remove the hose assembly from the nitrogen gauge body (08-0072). Install the nitrogen needle adaptor into the gauge body using pipe sealant or Teflon® tape. Remove the retainer nut from the adaptor and slide the needle over the stainless steel tube extending from the adaptor. Install the O-ring over the needle carefully to avoid injury. Reattach the retainer nut and tighten until the O-ring and needle seat against the adaptor. Remove the screw covering the self-sealing rubber valve on the shock. While holding the reservoir body, insert the needle into the valve as straight as possible to avoid bending or breaking the needle. Set the nitrogen tank regulator to the manufacturer's recommended pressure and pressurize the shock accordingly. After filling, carefully remove the needle and replace the cover screw over the valve. Install the protective cover over the needle when not in use. Safety Precautions: Always wear eye protection to prevent injury from escaping gas or debris. Never point the needle toward yourself or others. Follow the shock manufacturer's instructions and only fill to the recommended pressure.

The Motion Pro Nitrogen Shock Gauge and Filler is engineered for precise filling of gas-charged shocks. With a capacity of up to 300 psi, it features a bleeder valve and a T-handle plunger pin chuck for accurate pressure adjustments. The swivel chuck is equipped with a 12-inch flexible hose to facilitate easy access. The kit includes instructions, a carrying box, and a Schrader valve extension, which is necessary for certain Showa shocks. Please note, a regulator and transfer hose are required to connect nitrogen from the tank to the shock gauge and filler. This tool is proudly made in the USA. Lightly turn T-handle valve counter-clockwise to stop. Next, connect T-handle valve to Schrader valve on shock. Tighten T-handle valve very lightly with an 11/16" wrench to ensure a good seal. Turn T-handle valve clockwise while nitrogen pressure from the tank is being applied to Motion Pro gauge. A slight deflection of the Motion Pro gauge needle will occur when the T-handle valve has opened the shock Schrader valve. Wait a few seconds, and then lightly turn the T-handle valve counter-clockwise to stop. Remove nitrogen tank hose from Motion Pro gauge. Bleed pressure from Motion Pro gauge by depressing the bleeder valve button. Motion Pro gauge may safely be removed from shock now. Replace Schrader valve cap on shock. NOTE: On some Showa shocks, the Schrader valve extension (08-0132) is required. This extension is included with the Motion Pro Shock Gauge #08-0072. On some Yamaha and Ohlins shocks, there is a self-sealing rubber valve. The Motion Pro Nitrogen Needle (08-0075) is required to pressurize these shocks. The nitrogen needle is sold separately.
