Hot Rods Connecting Rod Kit – 8621

This high-quality connecting rod kit is designed as a reliable replacement for heavy-duty applications. Manufactured from hot-rolled ASTM 4115 material, the rods are case-hardened to 58-62 Rc for exceptional durability. The advanced design features side scalloping and vent slots to minimize high-rpm bearing race distortion.

Double-forged for improved grain flow and dimensional consistency, the rods are shot-peened and double-honed to handle heavy loads. The small ends are double-drilled for enhanced lubrication and cooling to the wrist pin bearing, crucial in high-stress applications. Thrust washers and crank pin bearings are silver-coated for superior lubricity and performance.
