Manufactured from hot-rolled ASTM 4115 steel and case-hardened to 58–62 Rc for exceptional strength.
Advanced design minimizes high RPM bearing race distortion with strategically located side scalloping and vent slots.
Double-forged rods improve grain flow and dimensional consistency.
Shot-peened and double-honed rods for superior strength under heavy loads.
Small ends are double-drilled for improved lubrication and cooling to the wrist pin bearing.
