The Hot Rods connecting rod kit (Part No. 8627) is a high-quality replacement for KTM 125 SX and 125 EXC models. Designed for durability and performance, this kit meets the demands of high-RPM applications, providing reliability under heavy loads.

Manufactured from hot-rolled ASTM 4115 steel and case-hardened to 58–62 Rc for maximum strength and durability.
Advanced design with side scalloping and vent slots to reduce high-RPM bearing race distortion.
Double-forged rods for improved grain flow and dimensional consistency.
Shot-peened and double-honed for added strength and reliability.
Small ends are double-drilled for enhanced lubrication and cooling of the wrist pin bearing.
Silver-coated thrust washers and crank pin bearings for increased lubricity.
Complete kit includes rod, crank pin, crank pin bearing, top-end bearing, and thrust washers.
