Manufactured from hot-rolled ASTM 4115 material and case-hardened to 58-62 Rc, ensuring strength and reliability under demanding conditions. Features advanced design elements like strategically located side scalloping and vent slots to reduce high RPM bearing race distortion. Double-forged construction improves grain flow and dimensional consistency, while shot-peening and double-honing enhance strength under heavy loads. Small ends are double-drilled to improve lubrication and cooling, particularly important for wrist pin bearings under high-stress applications. Thrust washers and crank pin bearings are silver-coated for added lubricity. Each kit is supplied complete with a rod, crank pin, crank pin bearing, top-end bearing, and thrust washers.
